Cian Shay
When the Separatists took Lantilles, Cian was one of hundreds that kept fighting. After the Grand Army of the Republic’s Twelfth Army kicked the Separatists off, he kept fighting, growing up quickly on the battlefields of Centares, Randon and Murkhana. The war ended, and he found himself without a job. Interested in the safety net of government service, Cian joined the ISB early but knew that he wasn’t connected enough to ever make it into the upper ranks. Instead, he ended up working investigations on former Separatist worlds, rooting out real bad guys who wanted to reactivate battle droid armies or create viruses.
At first it was edicts that were morally wrong but legally gray. Don’t let certain aliens immigrate off world. Focus your investigations on certain people. Cian was moving around every two or three years and mostly working the Outer Rim. He was a patriot and kept thinking the Senate would provide enough stability to bring things back to the way they had been. Besides, the Imperial governors that he was protecting usually ignored most of Palpatine’s edicts long enough for the Senate to water them down to something palatable or cancel them outright.
In the end, it was family that made Cian a rebel. Owen Shay would always stand up to a bully or get into arguments with teachers when he thought they were wrong. But the schools changed when COMPNOR came around. The government took more and more interest in the “political loyalties” of school kids. One day, Cian found out from an old buddy that COMPNOR was coming for him. Cian and Owen fled their current assignment on Telti in the Expansion Region. Cian contacted a few people from his past who had anti-Imperial leanings and found they were going underground as well. They hid his family, except for Owen who was bound and determined to make the Empire pay. Cian joined up because he figured he might be able to keep him alive if he was lucky.
After two years of fighting with Saw’s Partisans Cian joined up with the 41st Pathfinders, bringing a large cache of surplus armor and equipment with him. He was decorated for taking several Imperial positions along the high ground during the first day of the Second Battle of Mauston and for holding the town on he second day. On Vess, Cian acquired a new bacta supply from the civilian population and later led two fire teams in the successful destruction of Imperial Dark Troopers who were threatening civilians.

Clem "Doctor" Darvo

Aka The Harmicist, was born on Raxas in 28 BBY. His upbringing was tranquil and lax, shaped by his parents' professions; his mother a physician and his father an engineer. Inspired by them, Darvo embarked on the path of medicine.
As the Clone Wars progressed, Darvo's family, foreseeing the Confederacy's decline, relocated to Tatooine. While his parents found legitimate work, Darvo became entangled with Jabba the Hutt, offering medical services to the crime lord's associates and captives. Over time, Jabba entrusted Darvo with more demanding tasks, including providing medical aid to Han Solo's crew on Bolivar and eliminating rival medical practitioners to safeguard Jabba's interests.

Kemm Kestrel

When the Clone Wars started, Kemm was in his prime. Having founded a successful technology firm on Corellia, Kestrel CoreWorks was making and selling systems that were integrated into many facets of Republic life. At the outset of the Clone Wars, Kemm pivoted all Kestrel CoreWorks capacity to supporting the war effort of the Republic. This proved lucrative, with KCW expanding into many other sectors. With the close of the Clone Wars and the rise of Emperor Palpatine, that business only grew until the new Empire began to exert its power.
Realizing almost too late that his Republic was now gone, Kemm began to funnel KCW funds to the fledgling Rebellion just as the Empire nationalized KCW. Cut off from the life he knew, and wanted by the Empire, Kemm went into hiding and started a Rebel cell: codename Aurek Squad. Now a soldier and spy for the Alliance to Restore the Republic, Kemm has dedicated all his knowledge of technology, logistics, and operations to the overthrow of the Empire for the last 17 years.
As part of the Rebellion, Kemm has frequently used his skills to turn the Empire’s technology back against it. He has been responsible for capturing shipments of Imperial weapons, slicing comm arrays and databanks, and reprogramming droids to serve as undercover operatives. He has led Aurek Squad in many covert missions, and been involved in overt conflicts recently on Bolivar and Raegor where he operated with the 41st Pathfinders.
