Cian Shay

Picture
When the Separatists took Lantilles, Cian was one of hundreds that kept fighting. After the Grand Army of the Republic’s Twelfth Army kicked the Separatists off, he kept fighting, growing up quickly on the battlefields of Centares, Randon and Murkhana. The war ended, and he found himself without a job. Interested in the safety net of government service, Cian joined the ISB early but knew that he wasn’t connected enough to ever make it into the upper ranks. Instead, he ended up working investigations on former Separatist worlds, rooting out real bad guys who wanted to reactivate battle droid armies or create viruses.

At first it was edicts that were morally wrong but legally gray. Don’t let certain aliens immigrate off world. Focus your investigations on certain people. Cian was moving around every two or three years and mostly working the Outer Rim. He was a patriot and kept thinking the Senate would provide enough stability to bring things back to the way they had been. Besides, the Imperial governors that he was protecting usually ignored most of Palpatine’s edicts long enough for the Senate to water them down to something palatable or cancel them outright.
In the end, it was family that made Cian a rebel. Owen Shay would always stand up to a bully or get into arguments with teachers when he thought they were wrong. But the schools changed when COMPNOR came around. The government took more and more interest in the “political loyalties” of school kids. One day, Cian found out from an old buddy that COMPNOR was coming for him. Cian and Owen fled their current assignment on Telti in the Expansion Region. Cian contacted a few people from his past who had anti-Imperial leanings and found they were going underground as well. They hid his family, except for Owen who was bound and determined to make the Empire pay. Cian joined up because he figured he might be able to keep him alive if he was lucky.

After two years of fighting with Saw’s Partisans Cian joined up with the 41st Pathfinders, bringing a large cache of surplus armor and equipment with him. He was decorated for taking several Imperial positions along the high ground during the first day of the Second Battle of Mauston and for holding the town on he second day. On Vess, Cian acquired a new bacta supply from the civilian population and later led two fire teams in the successful destruction of Imperial Dark Troopers who were threatening civilians.

Clem "Doctor" Darvo

Picture
Aka The Harmicist, was born on Raxas in 28 BBY. His upbringing was tranquil and lax, shaped by his parents' professions; his mother a physician and his father an engineer. Inspired by them, Darvo embarked on the path of medicine.

As the Clone Wars progressed, Darvo's family, foreseeing the Confederacy's decline, relocated to Tatooine. While his parents found legitimate work, Darvo became entangled with Jabba the Hutt, offering medical services to the crime lord's associates and captives. Over time, Jabba entrusted Darvo with more demanding tasks, including providing medical aid to Han Solo's crew on Bolivar and eliminating rival medical practitioners to safeguard Jabba's interests. Kemm Kestrel

Picture
When the Clone Wars started, Kemm was in his prime. Having founded a successful technology firm on Corellia, Kestrel CoreWorks was making and selling systems that were integrated into many facets of Republic life. At the outset of the Clone Wars, Kemm pivoted all Kestrel CoreWorks capacity to supporting the war effort of the Republic. This proved lucrative, with KCW expanding into many other sectors. With the close of the Clone Wars and the rise of Emperor Palpatine, that business only grew until the new Empire began to exert its power.

Realizing almost too late that his Republic was now gone, Kemm began to funnel KCW funds to the fledgling Rebellion just as the Empire nationalized KCW. Cut off from the life he knew, and wanted by the Empire, Kemm went into hiding and started a Rebel cell: codename Aurek Squad. Now a soldier and spy for the Alliance to Restore the Republic, Kemm has dedicated all his knowledge of technology, logistics, and operations to the overthrow of the Empire for the last 17 years.

As part of the Rebellion, Kemm has frequently used his skills to turn the Empire’s technology back against it. He has been responsible for capturing shipments of Imperial weapons, slicing comm arrays and databanks, and reprogramming droids to serve as undercover operatives. He has led Aurek Squad in many covert missions, and been involved in overt conflicts recently on Bolivar and Raegor where he operated with the 41st Pathfinders.

Miika

Picture
Miika (Twi'lek) was born and raised on Ryloth. Happy to travel the galaxy as a linguist, learning new languages and cultures, trying to preserve the stories of every group she came across in writing. Becoming fast friends with archaeologist Vorn Tiger, Miika became familiar with the destructive nature of the empire and it became a race for Miika and her friends to preserve as much history as possible.

Then the fateful day the empire took her parents as slaves and forced her siblings into hiding, Miika vowed to free her parents and find her siblings. Finding more and more distruction and corruption Miika decided to try to eliminate as many empireals as possible with her partisan friends at her side. With shield and thermal detonators handy Miika was one to run heavily guarded posts and clear the way for far more skilled marksman. Unintentionally receiving the rank of corporal through these actions for the rebellion.

Dax Tharon

Picture
Born on the planet of Kuat, Dax Tharon found himself caught in the midst of a violent local uprising, where insurgents targeted the Kuat Drive Yards in an attempt to destabilize Imperial control. Amidst the chaos of detonations and blaster fire, Dax and his family found themselves trapped in the crossfire. Salvation arrived in the form of the 107th Stormtrooper Legion. With their disciplined precision and unyielding resolve, they swiftly quelled the insurrection, restoring order to the district.

From that moment Dax understood, more than ever, the importance of the Empire's presence in maintaining peace and stability. Inspired, Dax enlisted in the Imperial Academy at age 16. He proved himself a competent and reliable soldier, mastering essential skills in marksmanship and reconnaissance, and eventually earning his place in the Scout Trooper Corps.

Throughout his service, Dax has consistently proven himself on the battlefield, leading successful charges and executing critical missions with precision. His deployments to fiercely rebellious territories like Mauston 5 and Bolivar have further highlighted his ability to navigate complex and hostile environments; outmaneuvering rebel forces and securing vital intelligence for the Empire.

Dax’s allegiance to the Empire is unwavering. His loyalty is not just a duty but a deeply personal conviction, rooted in the belief that the Empire’s triumph is essential for peace and justice in the galaxy. Long live the Empire!

Supply Sgt. Goseph Velson

Picture
Supply Sgt. Goseph Velson was born to a wealthy merchant family on the planet of Garel. When the Empire emerged his father was "recruited” to manage and maintain trade relations between the Empire and the local population. It wasn't long before he saw the benefits of having the grace and authority of the Empire behind him. After his father was promoted to officer, it became Velsons mission to follow in his footsteps and take over the family business. Not long after Velson had paid his dues and received his first squad command his father was injured during a rebel incursion which left him disabled and gave Velson the opportunity to expand his authority within the Imperial regime. He was granted the rank of sergeant and with it control of the supply line for his father's sector of the outer rim.

With his new found authority Velson found ways to make working for the empire even more lucrative. He was never an idealist and had no issue dealing in illicit goods moving contraband throughout the system. While he never had direct dealing with the Huts or Pykes he always maintained intermediary associates to handle those more sensitive transactions. Recently he found himself visiting various worlds across the outer rim such ad Bolivar and Mauston III setting up supply lines for ill equipped troops at the far reaches of the galaxy; solidifying his usefulness to the Empire and ensuring he had access to all avenues of profit. Wars after all, are won and lost by logistics, and he made sure whether the Empire succeeded or failed he would remain well paid.

Jun Hus'qi

Picture
Joining the rebellion after witnessing the ferrix incident first hand, Jun discovered a passion and natural talent for fighting the Empire. This enthusiasm led to him being assigned to the 41st pathfinders where he would earn a field commission and made an officer and leader of Red Squad.

Vorn Tiger

Picture
Classes: Heavy (Enforcer) and Operative.
Bio:
Vorn Tiger, is the pseudonym for the Alderaanian Archaeologist who along with @Miika joined the Partasin's when excavations on Ryloth went terribly awry. He grew up witnessing the Clone Wars burn across the galaxy, and spent his early life dedicated to preserving history and uncovering the mysteries of the Outer Rim, with many years spent working on Ryloth dedicated to researching the planets liberation from the Zygerrian Empire hundreds of years ago.

Unfortunately, the Jedi's prominent role in that liberation led the Empire to destroy his research, confiscate sites he and Miika uncovered, and eventually as they continued studying, destroy her family and home. Though they scrounged discarded clone wars equipment to launch a misguided rescue attempt, they found themselves trapped by Imperials. Only to be rescued by the "Lothcats" who have since become a 2nd family, as Lt. Cian Shay took them in and taught them how to fight back. Vorn now travels the galaxy, along with Miika, exploring, and hiding sites from the Empire where they can, smuggling artifacts back to relevant cultures where possible, and hitting the Empire where it hurts whenever the Lothcats form up.
