Eye Protection
Eye Protection is MANDATORY while on the field at GCW events.
All Eye Protection MUST meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1 Rating.
All Eye Protection MUST be purpose made for Airsoft, Paintball or Tactical Use.
(No SHOP GOGGLES, NO SNOW BOARDING GOGGLES, NO SPORT GOGGLES ETC)
All Eye Protection MUST have a backstrap.
Staff will check and approve ALL Eye Protection. GCW reserves the right to turn players away or eject them from play for Eye Protection violations. Eye Safety is CRITICAL for this hobby.
Players utilizing Mandalorian or other full helmets must still use proper eye protection
Mesh goggles are prohibited.
Under 18
For all players under 18, Eye Pro MUST be full seal, have a full gasket.
Must meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1
Must no leave gaps.
Must be purpose made for airsoft, paintball or firearms use.
Lower Face MUST be covered by cloth, fabric, mesh mask etc.
18+ For any player over 18, Non Full Seal Eye Pro from the following approved brands only may be worn:

Non full seal MUST fully contour to the face, leaving no major gaps. Non full seal MUST fully cover the eye and eye socket. Non full seal MUST have a backstrap. (unless your headgear setup prevents it, see staff)
Lower Face covers IE cloth, fabric, mesh mask etc is Highly Recommended, we hold no responsibility if you opt not to, as it can result in injury and damage to the mouth and nose.
Participants are required to have barrel socks or covers on their replicas and sidearms are to remain holstered while in the staging area. Example: https://www.evike.com/products/24715/ Real steal firearms are not allowed on site.

General Field Safety Rules
Goggles must be worn at all times on field. Players must wear goggles whenever they leave the registration area. At no time will a player be allowed to break the seal of the goggle from around their face. Only goggles specifically approved for paintball & Airsoft are allowed at our field.
You are responsible for the safety of your own gear, property and equipment. Action Sports Airsoft & Paintball (ASAP) is not responsible for any property left unattended. If you are renting our equipment, you are responsible for its safe return. If it is lost or stolen, you will be responsible for replacement costs.
Blind firing is not allowed. Players must always be looking at their targets while shooting. Do not shoot the wildlife!
No shooting or dry firing in the Registration area or in the parking lot. Players may never discharge their guns anywhere with the exception of the target range or the particular playing field their game is being held on.
Barrel BAGS are required. Players may never remove their barrel bag unless at the target area or when told to do so by a referee. If you lose your barrel cover point your gun at the ground and call for assistance from the staff.
All players must have guns chrono-graphed by a referee and marked before being allowed to play.
No climbing of trees, structures, through windows, or on bunkers. The only objects players are allowed to climb on are structures that have a staircase leading up them.
No throwing pyro of any kind into campers, trailers or cars on field.
Players are required to stay within the playing field boundaries at all times while playing.
No physical contact. Players may never touch another player or their equipment. Events with LARP rules are an exception and will be clarified at those specific events.
Unauthorized equipment is not allowed on the playing field. Players are not allowed to bring onto the playing field any equipment deemed to be unsafe or not appropriate by the field operator.
Avoid field hazards. Players should avoid all hazards such as fences, ruts, and vines. Players should report any field hazard to the field operator.
Players may never construct anything that may hinder the movement of other players. Players are not allowed to construct any sort of barricades or bunkers.
Smoking is allowed in the registration area. Players are never permitted to smoke on the playing field.
Verbal abuse, fighting or anything else ASW Management deems to be inappropriate can be grounds for expulsion. Players ejected for rule violations will not be given a refund. DO NOT CALL ANOTHER PLAYERS HITS. Shoot until they call it or move on. CALLING OTHERS HITS IS GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL.
Do not disassemble the rental equipment. If you are experiencing difficulties with your equipment please bring it to the attention of a staff member.
Referees decisions on the field are final. Players are not allowed to argue with any referees. Our referees or management will be happy to discuss any call after the game if you need clarification on a rule.
Use of illegal drugs or alcohol is not permitted before or during play.
Players must read all Safety Rules prior to signing the waiver of liability.
Players agree to abide by all applicable Federal, state and local laws governing the playing of these sports.
Any Violation of the Safety Rules will Result in the Offending Player being ejected for the day without a Refund FOR EMERGENCIES DIAL 911
