Chain-Code Card

  • Issued at registration and linked to you as a player regardless of what character or faction you are have registered to play as.
  • Required for all upgrade purchases. Upgrades are permanent. Across any and all characters.
  • Keep your card with you at all times.
  • You should only play as one character per event unless you have prior permission from admins.
At the end of the event, turn in your card and credits. Your upgrades and credits will be saved to your chain-code, carrying over to your next Galactic Civil War event.

Credits

Earn credits by completing missions and tasks during the event, some factions may have sign up bonuses when you pre-order your tickets, so be mindful when selecting your faction!

Only use official credits—do not make or alter your own. Stealing credits will result in a ban from this and future events.
Credits come as ingots in four values:
  • Copper: 10 credits
  • Silver: 50 credits
  • Gold: 100 credits
  • Ebony: 500 credits
Spend credits on real gear, ammo, clothing, patches, armor, airsoft blasters, snacks, drinks, bets, upgrades, or bribes.
At event end, turn in unspent credits with your chain-code card. These will carry over to your next event.

Character Upgrades

  • Custom Repeater Mod – 1,500 credits per blaster (max 3)
    • Allows controlled bursts under 1.5j (20ft minimum)
    Emergency Bacta Vial Capacity – Carry more EBVs:
    • 2nd slot: 150 credits
    • 3rd slot: 300 credits
    • 4th slot: 600 credits
    • 5th slot: 1,200 credits
  • Player Companion – 750 credits to specialize
    • Must be realistic, themed and easily visible to others.
    • One specialization at a time.
    • Max one active companion.
    • Limited pre-made companions: 1,500 credits.

Specializations: 
  • Medical: May use the owner's bacta vials to revive other players, or can apply owner's full bacta vial at the end of their bleedout to SELF-REVIVE.  Unlocks an additional bacta vial slot and gain a bacta vial.
  • Slicing: May slice terminals/hackable objects
  • Repair: Can repair droids, Juggernauts, Capture Points and Vehicles.
  • Ammo: Gain 1000 additional ammo carrying capacity and an reload magazines (yours and others) anywhere on the AO. 
  • Explosives: May arm Thermal Charges, may self-destruct while in bleedout by using a Thermal Detonator. Gains an additional Thermal Detonator carry slot while you have an Explosives Companion.
  • Scout: Player may control a Drone (see field safety for specific requirements)
  • Riot/Energy Shield – 2,000 credits
    • Must meet size limits in combat rules.
    Thermal Device Capacity – Carry more Thermals (gain 1 EG-67 at purchase):
    • 2nd slot: 150 credits
    • 3rd slot: 300 credits
    • 4th slot: 600 credits
    • 5th slot: 1,200 credits
    Hero Class – Starting cost 10,000 credits
    • Unlock an extra class and prestige one unlocked class to gain its prestige ability.
    • Cost doubles each time you unlock another class.
    • Hero characters get:
      • Profile & photo on GCW website
      • GCW trading card at next event​​
